1.Our aim
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 level AA. We have not yet had an independent accessibility audit, so we do not claim conformance.
2.What we do today
Things built in from the start:
- Semantic headings, landmarks and a skip link on every page.
- The main flows work with a keyboard, with visible focus, and the timed test and flashcards have keyboard shortcuts.
- Controls are at least 44 pixels tall on touch screens.
- Text over gradients is checked for contrast, and meaning is never conveyed by colour alone.
- The test timer, answer status and form errors are announced to screen readers.
- Animations respect your system's reduced-motion setting.
- Pages are designed for phones, tablets and laptops without sideways scrolling and for zooming in, though we have not tested every screen at every zoom level.
3.Known gaps
We are still working on: formal screen-reader testing on every screen, captions or transcripts if we add audio, and extended-time options for timed tests. Dark mode is available but is less tested than light.
4.Tell us
If something is hard to use, tell us through the contact page and say what device and assistive technology you use. We will treat accessibility problems as bugs.
