Features
Everything built around one idea: understand why.
NextPrep is a practice and revision platform for NEET PG. No video lectures, by choice. Just original questions with a reason for every option, revision that schedules itself, and tests in an exam-style layout.
Question bank
A wrong answer should teach you something.
A key alone tells you what, not why. NextPrep tells you why the right option is right and why each of the other three is wrong, so one question clears up four ideas.
- A reason for every option, on every question
- Filter by subject, topic, unseen or missed
- Tutor mode (explanation straight away) or timed mode
- Bookmark, add a note, report a problem
Flashcards
Revision that remembers for you.
You shouldn't have to decide what to revise today. Cards come back when you are about to forget them: soon if you struggled, later if you knew them.
- Swipe or tap to rate, with intervals shown on every button
- Undo a mistaken rating
- Cram a deck without touching your schedule
- Built for one-handed use
Mnemonics
Memory aids, with the fine print.
A mnemonic is useful until it isn't. Each one shows what every letter stands for, how it is used in the clinic and where it stops being reliable, which is often where the exam question hides.
- Searchable by subject and topic
- Parts spelled out
- Honest about limits
Tests
Practise the way you will sit it.
Subject tests, stage tests and grand mocks run under a countdown with a question palette, mark-for-review and an auto-submit, like a computer-based test. Afterwards you see every explanation and where the time went.
- Question palette and mark for review
- Subject, stage and grand-mock series
- Review with explanations after submission
- Practice papers, never presented as official
Performance
Numbers that don't flatter and don't scare.
Every percentage shows the number of attempts behind it, and we don't call a subject strong or weak on fewer than five. Your repeated mistakes and weak topics come first, with one clear next step.
- Sample sizes beside every percentage
- Topics to watch and repeated mistakes
- Last-14-days activity
- A single recommended next action
Free assessment
Find out where you stand in twenty questions.
One question from every subject, in a real computer-based test layout with a timer and palette. You get an honest read on your starting point, a first-week plan and the reasoning behind every option. It costs nothing.
- 20 questions, about 25 minutes
- No sign-up
- A printable report
- Never a rank prediction
What a day with NextPrep looks like
No dashboard to decode. Four small habits that fit between rounds, duty and sleep.
Morning, 15 minutes
Open Flashcards. The cards due today are waiting, ten to twenty of them. You swipe through, rating each honestly.
Midday, one short set
Ten questions on whatever you are studying. You read every explanation, including for the ones you got right.
Evening, ten minutes
A quick set of missed and unseen questions. Wrong answers from last week come back before they are forgotten.
Weekend, one timed test
A subject test or a mock under a countdown. Afterwards the report shows where you lost marks and how long you spent.
Starts from your aim
When you set up your profile, NextPrep asks what you are preparing for: Medical PG (NEET PG and INI-CET), FMGE, Super Speciality, Residency or MBBS 1st Professional. The answer changes which test series are listed first, how quick sets are mixed between recall, application and multi-step questions, and the suggested daily goal. You can change it any time in Settings.
Be clear about what this is. The weights and mixes are our editorial choices, not an official blueprint, because no exam body publishes a per-subject split we could cite. Super Speciality and Residency have no speciality-specific question sets yet; they use the same bank with a different starting order. Nothing is removed from any path: other tests stay one tap away under “More tests”.

Not sure where you stand? Find out in twenty questions.
One question from every NEET PG subject, then an honest read on your starting point, with the reasoning behind every option.
What NextPrep is not
It is not a video course, and it doesn't use or claim access to real exam papers. The questions are original practice material that hasn't yet been reviewed by independent medical faculty, and our editorial policy explains how that will change. We don't promise rank or score. If you want the whole picture of what each plan includes, see the comparison on the pricing page.
Common questions
What makes the question bank different?
Every question explains why the right answer is right and why each other option is wrong, so a wrong answer teaches you something. Wrong answers feed your next set, and mistakes feed your flashcards and recommendations.
How do flashcards work?
Cards return on a schedule: soon when you struggled, later when you knew them. Rate each card from Again to Easy, swipe or tap, and undo a mistaken rating. Cram mode lets you go through a deck without changing the schedule.
Do mnemonics help, or mislead?
Both can happen, which is why each mnemonic on NextPrep shows what every part stands for, how it is used clinically and where it stops being reliable.
Can I take timed tests?
Yes. Subject tests, stage tests and grand mocks run under a countdown with a question palette and mark-for-review, like a computer-based test. They are NextPrep practice papers, not official papers.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes. NextPrep is designed for phones first, then tablets and laptops. Tests, flashcards and practice are built for one-handed use.
What is free?
The 20-question assessment, 20 practice questions a day, three complete subjects (Anatomy, Physiology and Biochemistry), 5 mnemonics and overall analytics. Every explanation is open to everyone.
Is there a video course?
No, by choice. NextPrep is a practice and revision platform, so it sits beside whichever lectures or books you already use.
Can I choose what to practise?
Yes. You can filter by subject and topic, and by all, unseen, missed or bookmarked questions. You can also choose tutor mode, which shows the explanation straight away, or a timed mode.
What can I do with a question besides answer it?
You can bookmark it, add a private note and report a problem with it. Bookmarks and notes are stored on your device.
Does NextPrep predict my rank?
No. The analytics describe your own practice, with the number of attempts shown beside every percentage. They are not a prediction of any result.
Does NextPrep change what it shows for my aim?
Yes, a little. At setup you pick Medical PG, FMGE, Super Speciality, Residency or MBBS 1st Professional, and that decides which test series are listed first, the mix of recall and application questions in quick sets, and the suggested daily goal. The weights are our editorial choices, not an official blueprint, and Super Speciality and Residency have no speciality-specific question sets yet.
Is there a daily routine built in?
There is a gentle one. Flashcards due today, a five-question quick set and an occasional timed test are enough, and nothing forces a schedule on you.
