The answer and the reasoning
D. Langenskiold
Langenskiold described six radiographic stages of infantile tibia vara, from irregular ossification and a metaphyseal beak to a physeal bar at the medial tibial plateau. Early realignment, usually before the age of 4, gives the best results because the changes in the early stages are reversible. Bracing may be tried in early stage disease.
